Player Bio

Paddy Ryan is a USA Eagle back-row forward who brings physicality, work rate, and international experience to the Seattle Seawolves. Raised in Ireland, he developed through the Leinster pathway before moving into professional rugby with Northampton Saints in the English Premiership, where he was part of a Premiership Cup-winning squad.

Ryan built his career across the RFU Championship with Coventry, Bedford Blues, Cornish Pirates, and Ampthill, earning consistent minutes and establishing himself as a dynamic and reliable loose forward.

Eligible for the United States through his father, Ryan made his USA Eagles debut in 2023 and has since represented the national team in international competition, including the Pacific Nations Cup and November test window.

He joined Major League Rugby with the San Diego Legion in 2024 and made an immediate impact across two seasons, recording 15 appearances, 213 meters gained, and 158 tackles. Known for his defensive consistency and ability to contribute across the park, Ryan adds depth and leadership to the Seawolves forward pack.

He joins the club for the 2026 season ready to deliver in key moments and elevate performance across the group.
