Ignacio Peculo

Ignacio Péculo is an international prop who brings power, physicality, and work rate to the Seattle Seawolves. Born in Montevideo, Uruguay, he developed through the national pathway, representing Uruguay at U20 level before progressing to the senior team.
Péculo made his international debut in 2020 and has since represented Los Teros on the global stage, including the 2023 Rugby World Cup. His experience at test level has shaped a forward who is comfortable in high-pressure environments and consistent in contact.
At club level, Péculo spent four seasons with Peñarol in Super Rugby Americas, where he was part of back-to-back championship-winning squads. He later joined Major League Rugby with the Chicago Hounds, where he established himself as a reliable tighthead prop across two seasons.
Known for his strength in the scrum and effort around the breakdown, Péculo contributes across set piece and open play. He joins the Seawolves for the 2026 season ready to add depth and impact to the front row.
