Callum Botchar is a test-capped Canadian forward who brings size, physicality, and versatility to the Seattle Seawolves. Born in Ottawa and raised in Vancouver, he developed through Canada’s national pathway, including the Pacific Pride academy, before progressing to the senior international level.
Botchar made his debut for Canada in 2022 and has since earned multiple test caps. That experience has shaped a forward who is comfortable in physical contests and consistent under pressure, with a strong defensive presence and high work rate around the breakdown.
At the professional level, Botchar has competed in Major League Rugby across multiple seasons, establishing himself as a reliable contributor. He offers value in contact, lineout work, and carries, while also providing flexibility across the lock and back row positions.
Standing 6’4” and weighing 245 pounds, Botchar adds depth and competition to the Seawolves forward pack. He joins the club for the 2026 season focused on making an immediate impact and contributing to a high-performing group.
